Derrick Brooks Charities was proud to sponsor a powerful event in Tampa last weekend (June 21, 2025) in partnership with McDonald’s and My Omnilocks, an inspiring children’s book dedicated to boosting self-esteem and cultural pride among young girls.
We helped provide 100 copies of the book to local students. The event also included a reading by author Shonda Knight and hands-on activities for the girls to express their uniqueness.
Investing in our youth means uplifting their stories — and My Omnilocks is doing just that.
