Darrell Daniels is pictured with Shaniyah Higgans, a member of the Derrick Brooks Charities Youth Programs for 3 years, at her summer job with the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department. Shaniyah was awarded $300 worth of gift cards from the charity celebrating her 2023 graduation from Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School with honors. She was previously awarded a laptop computer. She has earned a Bright Futures Scholarship and will be attending Hillsborough Community College in the fall.
