Day 3 in Dearborn, Michigan started with a wonderful breakfast at the Dearborn Inn and then on to tour Wayne State University. The University is in Downtown Detroit and is almost as big as the University of South Florida. The tour was very informative and it was a whopping 59 degrees out that morning when we got started. The tour guides were laughing at us for being cold.

Next it was on to the Henry Ford Museum for lunch, shopping and touring. Who knew that the Ford family were such historians and collectors. The museum was absolutely amazing!!! He has the chair that President Lincoln was assassinated in at the Ford Theater – there are still blood stains on the chair. There is the actual bus that Rosa Parks rode in and made history as well as President Kennedy’s limousine that he was assassinated in as well. There are so many things that deserve mention, you will have to make it a point to take this trip, you will not be disappointed.
