We spent the November meeting honoring our military forces, discussing leadership and college readiness. Guest speaker, Kimberly Smith, retired Senior Master Sergeant and computer analysts of the United States Air Force shared her experiences in the Air Force and how 24 years in the military impacted her life. It was a real honor having her visit with the ROPP. Thank you, Master Sergeant Smith, for all you’ve done and all you are still doing to support our country.
Merry Christmas!!! December has been an eventful month for the ROPP. Our annual Christmas shenanigans ????were hosted by Ms. Karley this year. The young ladies had fun playing games, singing karaoke and fellowshipping together! But it didn’t end there! We had time, well spent at the holiday tent! Metropolitan Ministries gave the young ladies and mentors an opportunity to give back this holiday season. We had a joyous time sorting toys, helping families load their cars, grocery shopping and working at the registration desk. Thank You Metropolitan Ministries for giving our girls this opportunity.
Extra, Extra read all about it!!! So much AWESOMENESS is going on with LaSarah Hargrove and Alexis Woodall! Can you say COMMITTED! Both young ladies were awarded Track & Field Scholarships! LaSarah will be attending Iowa and Alexis will be attending Arkansas State! You girls rock! We are so very proud and excited for you both! We love you and will miss you dearly! Way to set the example for your ROP sisters! GOD is good all the time!
