Allow your choices to be your actions to write your legacy! What will your story read? Former high school Social Studies teacher Curtis Sails spoke with the Rites of Passage Program’s young ladies about their ability to make meaningful, responsible decisions and how their actions today determine their tomorrow. Mr. Sails based his discussion on a book written by Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! He ended the conversation by stressing the importance of reading and by always valuing the power it brings.
We continued our meeting by reviewing the steps to set healthy short- and long-term goals and creating decorative goal vision boards that consisted of appropriate actions to lead to those goals.
Again, it is our continued pleasure to spend time with each of these young ladies, and we look forward to their future! Remember, be blessed and be a blessing!
