Last night we had the privilege of giving out Turkeys and Publix gift cards to families at the Wilbert David Boys and Girls Club in Belmont Heights. What a blessing it was and as Derrick Brooks so profoundly said “this was like coming full circle.” Twenty years ago he did his very first Thanksgiving at Wilbert Davis and a young lady by the name of Felteena was one of his Brooks Bunch students who is now the Director at the Wilbert Davis Boys and Girls Club – God is so faithful!
