​My foundation works primarily in the Tampa Bay community to provide youth with educational programs and opportunities to develop a cultural and social vision. We are able to inspire youth towards a brighter future through our charter high school, Brooks  DeBartolo Collegiate High School and our many youth programs. The mission of Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc. is to provide educational opportunities for socio-economically challenged youth that will instill, inspire, broaden and develop cultural and social vision outside of the walls in which they live, to ensure that these young people have every chance to develop into the strong, productive leaders of tomorrow.
